up for adoption: several cats

elionwyr..No, I'm not serious.
Just seriously frustrated.
Ferret has decided to take the dog to the pound tomorrow. We're both rather torn about it. But with Gemma gone, the cats could be allowed back into the rest of the house - which means we get the third floor back to ourselves, and hopefully Ferret will be able to sleep through the night again. (We sleep on the third floor..Last night, in particular, the cats were very *very* bad...it's amazing how they can use all sorts of furniture and the like as percussion instruments at 2AM..)
So I decided to start trying to clean the third floor tonight. And in the process, discovered that at least *one* of the cats (I suspect I know which furry culprit it is) has been peeing in all sorts of inappropriate places - including on the friggin' trash bag I was trying to use...! And my precious Hades managed to sneak her way into a closet and tear open a new bag of food - something I discovered only because I could hear the food falling to the floor in small piles.
Sooooo...yeah, right now, the cats ain't high on my list, either.
*growl*
And let's not even discuss the gift that the savannah monitor left in his water bowl for me...ick.
