elionwyrWeird one last night..
I was (again) back at my father's home, but this time I had several of the pets I have now. (In my childhood, I never had more than one small rodent - either a hamster or a gerbil.) This being a dream, it was, as usual, inadequate when it comes to animals - I had a fish tank, and a tank that housed Bella and Gomez. (I've never kept my chinchillas in a tank.)
I came in to find that the tank Bella and Gomez lived in was missing. I was just frantic - running around, desperately looking for them. I found the tank, but it was completely cleaned out and lidless.
Finally, I looked at the fish tank and found them both in there, desperately trying to swim! Both were alive, but only able to use their back feet and front left legs - their front right legs had been popped out of their sockets or something - they were hanging listlessly by their sides, and when I rescued each chin, she/he would yelp out in pain as the leg went back into its socket.
I was insanely enraged...I stormed around the house (I forget if I was still holding my chinchillas or not...I remember wanting to put them in their cage but I couldn't find the lid) screaming, just SCREAMING at everyone I could find, demanding to know who had done this.
Finally, my father admitted that he was the culprit - he had found them sleeping, but thought they were dead, so he thought he was doing me a favor by cleaning out their cage, and hadn't known where to put their bodies. (I'm not sure why the fish tank was a logical option!)
I went back to my room and checked on Bella and Gomez - they were ok. I then began thinking about how I could reorganize my room and what I needed to get rid of before I moved...and then the familiar sinking feeling returned..'Where do I go? I can't stay here anymore..but I have nowhere else to go to and I can't afford to move, and..'
Then I woke up.
The end - Trapped in Reading/Have to Move theme - is familiar.
But I really don't know what the rest of it is about.
