weird coworker reaction
Apr. 17th, 2002 09:26 amI gave a coworker a book about dinosaurs - it's a collection of scientific papers collected from DinoFest '95. She has a son who claims to want to be a paleontologist, and this copy needed a home, so I thought she might be interested.
She starts paging through it as I explained that I knew it would be over her son's head right now, but that it had good information. She gets to some bone illustrations. "Now my son will be drawing THESE dinosaurs!" she exclaimed.
It sounded negative. Which confuses me.
I'm going to try to believe, instead, that this is just how she talks rather than a true frustration with her son's artwork and interest.
..I mean, after all..that's how Ferret got started.. :)
