I was told by a coworker yesterday that my now-ex-boss was "gunning" for me - documenting how many times I called in sick on Mondays.

Funny thing is, I really didn't notice that I did that - and she never talked to me about it being an issue.

Oh, I'm so *pissed*...and now I have the paranoia of not knowing what exactly she *did* document.

I feel like I'm back in school, getting a glimpse of the HUGE file my guidance counsellor had on me and wanting like hell to get a look inside...*growl*

some bosses are crap, at least it's an ex-boss.... unless the new one will pick up where that one left off?

I bet alot of people's absent days are mon and fri....

..I talked to another supervisor that I really trust and she said that Ex-Boss wasn't after me. So I don't know what to think, except that I'll watch my time more.

I do really like New Boss. He's good about feedback, knowing our jobs, and being able to give us cool new tools to do our job better - he's a mucho better match than Ex-Boss was.

And now I have a chocolate donut and coffee, so the world looks better. hehehehe

A bit of useful information: Had you realllllly wanted to see your school file, you had EVERY RIGHT! The FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) gives you the right to INSPECT AND CHALLENGE anything in the record.

BTW, this same Act protects your rights at work. Just in case you wanted to know, you have the same right to view and challenge your work record ;o)
