"Give me your hearts!" - Erzabet
Dec. 11th, 2001 12:29 pmMy father-in-law went for an angioplasty yesterday. He was told he had three blockages in his heart that had to be cleared out; until then, he has to stop exercising because of the stress on his heart.
As it turned out, he actually has one large blockage that has completely closed off one of his aortas, causing new blood vessels to grow up and around it to make up for the lack of blood flow. So he has to go back in a few weeks to have open heart surgery.
Sorta puts things in perspective, don't it?
...Though I'm also sleeeeeepy...our neighbors apparently thought it would be a good idea to work on dog training in their back yard at midnight.
