vandalism?
Mar. 15th, 2002 10:25 amSomething I decided to not deal with until today..
Wednesday morning, I came into work to find that my headphones - my desperate link to sanity and escape from the babble of coworkers - were sitting on my desk (where I hadn't left them) and that they were totally destroyed.
I assume that, since they had been left plugged into my computer, maybe the cleaning staff pulled my chair out and the wire got tangled around a wheel or something.. but the wires were totally pulled out of the headset, the rubber casing was torn open and stripped off the wires, wires are frayed and broken - it's just an amazing amount of damage.
So I talked to Security today, and all they're saying is to file a damage report.
I don't even think they'll replace the headset - dammit.

maybe invest in a lock, that is if you can lock up any of your drawers and lock a new one in there?
