techie non-help
Feb. 21st, 2002 02:41 pmMy computer crashed hard a while back. Our tech team was able, months later now, to restore an old save of what I had on my hard drive. Part of this was (thank goodness) a bunch of emails, but I couldn't figure out how to view it, and Outlook's help file is..well..a joke. (IMHO.)
So I called the person back who had worked on my PC, but in the meantime I kept playing with it, and eventually did get it working.
Help Desk person called today and left a message trying to explain how to do what I needed - but it was (a) confusing and (b) wrong.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could walk around and say, "Hey. You're stupid. I want your job because I can do it better," and then *poof*, have it happen?
