last night was painless
Feb. 21st, 2002 08:39 amI got in late, because I stopped to return some shoes, then decided to go to a Barnes & Noble to get some hot tea- but got distracted by all the books - and then couldn't find one I really really wanted to buy (which is a sure sign of how sick I've been).
Anyway, I got home around 7 - about an hour late - to find only a few guests in the house. Overall, we had maybe only 5 people (not counting Ferret, Jen, or myself).
I was in bed by 10, and with the help of a major dose of NyQuil, I actually slept for the whole night - first time in almost a week.
So. I'm better.
But I still have no brain.
Which feels so incredibly wrong - like a tool that's been allowed to rust and lock up. You know it should, and can, work better...but it simply isn't.
