stupid things you do to your cat
Feb. 19th, 2002 10:01 pmWhen my cat, the still-missed Maggie, was alive, she would do what many cats do..sit by the computer while I surfed the net.
And I, like many pet owners, would find stupid ways to play with her.
Our favorite was to play with scotch tape. I'd put a piece on the edge of the desk; she'd look at it, purr, remove it with her teeth, then drop it on the floor.
Or I'd put it on her paw. Purring, she'd nose it around, remove it, drop it, and look at me.
Ok, pretty stupid stuff.
But I had been using tape earlier today and had a little piece on the edge of my computer desk..and Lurk just did a Maggie with it. Purring the whole time.
Very strange.
I tried putting a piece on his paw, but he didn't like that idea, and left in a huff.
Weird.
..though I'd like to think he and Maggie were communicating on some level. She used to like him; he used to hide behind her a lot when he was a kitten.

Date: 2002-02-20 04:29 am (UTC)I admit, I loved doing things with tape with Puffy....
He didn't seem to mind very much.... most of the time.
After awhile he'd get tired of it and get snuggly
:)
