elionwyr..Arielle asked me last weekend to teach her how to cross-stitch. I gave her my book of Harry Potter patterns, and she picked out a simple owl to do, which we'll start on next time she's over.
Jason warned me later to not get my hopes up too high about her following through..that she might ask me to finish it for her. I told him I wouldn't do either; but I'd see how it all went.
Well, I mentioned this to her mom tonight, because she (mom) was talking about how Arielle has been telling her what she wants to hear.
She said, "Oh! Arielle mentioned that...she came home very excited and told me you were going to teach her something, but she couldn't remember what it was called...something about sewing.." and then she laughed and said it was a good idea.
YAY!
I had a good idea!
