Ferret's mail-order bride

This Sunday, my beloved's mail-order bride comes to stay for a week!
..To explain the title: I tease him a lot about his needing to find a trophy wife should this damn movie ever be released and he become better-known. (He's had tastes of fame in the past; he already has a following in the dino geek community; and he does get hit on at work by various visitors.) He responds that *I'm* his trophy wife, but...eh. I don't believe that. Obviously.
So last summer, one of his colleagues asked if Jason could take over the mentorship of a young lady from NY named Jennifer. She stayed with us for about a month, and she was an absolute *joy* - very very mature for being 16 - and I teasingly called her his mail-order bride. ("Start training her now, honey...that movie should be out really soon, and she's a dino geek, she's cute, she's well-traveled..she'll be perfect!")
Anyway, she's been wanting to come back, so she'll be here next week.
Which is ironic, since I was saying in this LJ that this is the longest span of time we've been alone for..well, really for forever; we've always had a housemate or 4 around.
Still - it'll be good to see her again!
