The last little bit about the smouldering metal was what got me. Most experts agree that Stephen Jay Gould died because he was one of the volunteers at the site helping to look for possible survivors, and he inhaled enough carcinogens that his previously-in-remission cancer came back. Eight months later, he was dead. For that alone, I will NEVER forgive anyone involved with the Bush Administration, especially since they kept lying about the safety issues.
