In the drama that has become the Advisory Council Election, LJ staff is being rather reticent to give up much information about the purported threats against candidates.

I'm not saying it's a conspiracy, so do not assume as much.
I *do* believe that the LJ staff owes it to everyone involved to be more forthcoming with information.

It's also possible the police have asked them not to release information while the investigation is going on.
