I find myself so desperate to not listen to my coworkers..

..that my CD player volume is up as loud as it'll go and I keep pressing my headset as close to my ears as I can get it.

Sigh.

So how bad could partial deafness be?

If it'll prevent you from listening to your coworkers, it could be all that bad.

I just hope Jason's not the sort of guy who whispers sweet nothings into your ear :-)
