Several people have commented on my voice at work. As in, how pleasant it is to hear on the phone, both in sound and in attitude.

No one's said "wow you talk too damn fast".
They've just made a point of coming over to tell me how much they enjoy my voice.

(Hi. I'm a sucker for a good voice. (Heh. I first wrote "god voice," which means something much different...))

I've gotten the "don't talk so fast" advice, myself, in the past. And now when I hang out with some people who work on radio, where you have to speak quickly and clearly, I find myself starting to speed up to match their delivery, and have to slow myself down. "You're not on the radio!" I have to tell myself.
