Feb. 23rd, 2008 11:34 pmOk, so I'm going through this whole 'no really I don't want to own ANYTHING because I just moved and I clearly own too damn much stuff' phase.
But..um...this (from 2/22 post) would be one helluva nice housewarming gift.
(And then perhaps a life where I would have reason to wear such a thing.)
(And free alterations, this dress was not built for a hobbit.)
(Although I would 'settle' for this.)
*siiiiiiiigh*

Date: 2008-02-24 12:29 pm (UTC)That certainly made MY house warm... among other things. (Is it getting hot in here?)
Honestly, though, I don't know if that PARTICULAR dress would do right by you. It's designed more for someone built like Malena. And while you are quite a beautiful woman yourself (and if you're a hobbit, you're one of the really hot ones, like Rosie Cotton, OK?), you're build is QUITE different. However, I'd be willing to bet that you could get a custom jobby done by Malena, if you asked nicely, designed just to fit you. After all, she DOES have one of your umbrellas, doesn't she?
And, believe me, I understand wanting stuff that doesn't quite go with your body type... have you ever looked at the International Male catalogue? *sigh*
(The cincher, however? RRRRRRROWL! You'd look... you'd really be... I'm sorry, I have no words. I think I have to go lay down now. I'll be in my bunk.)

And YES, she has my umbrella, and we sporadically correspond.
But hey. A hobbit can dream!

Because you are a stunningly beautiful woman. I don't care about how short you are, or how curvy you are, or anything else. (Actually, I rather LIKE the curvy, as do most men who are worth the time of day from you!)
YOU ARE A FREAKING GODDESS, AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT! *Stomps foot*
And, as I recall, we talked about my doing a photoshoot of you at some point. I'm still up for that if you're game...

Ok. Based on the tiny size of my feet, I will concede that I am not entirely a hobbit.
Better? *grin*
(And really...read this!
And yes, we need to figure out how/when to do the picture thang! Because I still love love love the pic you took of me and my dreamcatcher. :)

OK, that post was FUNNY! Of course, any time you have to break out the power tools to make clothing alterations, perhaps it's time to re-think your wardrobe... *grin*
That dreamcatcher pic is one of my favorites. You'd be a really great subject, I think.

Date: 2008-02-24 10:30 pm (UTC)Though while reading the Hobbit, I do feel I have some Bilbo personality traits i.e. getting myself into situations where I am wishing I had stayed home with a nice pot of tea.
