(Wow. It turns out to be fairly difficult to coddle and praise on command.)

To coddle you, we sit side-by-side, and I wrap my arms around your deceptively tiny frame. You lean back. I sidle to the floor, knees bent, move one arm under your knees, and lift you up. You wrap your arms around my neck, and I carry you to your bed. I set you down, and cover you with a sheet, a blanket, and a quilt. I then go fetch tea.

I do this because you deserve it. Yes, you do. Every bit. You are a generous person whose only flaw is not giving as much to herself as she gives to others.

Since you apparently do not know how wonderful you are, I shall advise you of this. You are a true friend to your friends, and a comfort even to those you don't know well, when you sense they need comforting. People or (non-human) animals, you appear to love them all unreservedly.

Also, coddling (as opposed to cuddling) requires (in my judgment) the making of food for a person, usually comfort foods of some kind. So. What should I make for you?
