Stupid Work Statement of the Day

elionwyr..made by my boss's boss during a staff meeting:
"I don't think I should have to tell you guys to monitor your time. You all - with the exception of one [ looks at me] *have* children..."
Just as I said, "I have a stepdaughter," he changed his comment to, "Excuse me, you *do* have a child.."
Sigh.
And people wonder why my lack of a biological child is sometimes an issue for me.
