On the one hand, I'm with the rest of them. On the other hand...as a dissociative, all sorts of exciting things happen to me when I am in public and I start to...wander. When I'm safely at home but my guards are still down, there is a potential for healing that otherwise is much trickier because I'm guarded against stuff surfacing. There could be positive ramifications of this exchange that you might never know. I mean, try to avoid it (I do), but if you are out and your mind stops working quite right for *whatever* reason, I suggest tapping into the spirit for guidance. In general, I have prayers for protection in effect, as I've been dealing with this for years. Couldn't hurt.
