elionwyrWe went to see it last night.
It's subtitled (which the reviews for some reason don't mention)...but it's pretty good! It's a French flick taking place before the French Revolution...and you can't really say much about it without giving a lot away, but..it *does* seem to have something for everyone...kung fu; critters; witchcraft; sex; nudity; intrigue; mystery; gore; beautiful filmwork; cool archery; and a very cool "uncivilized" character that I'm half in love with (he's just beautiful).
Of course, we didn't get home until 12:30, and I stayed home today because I was just tooo friggin' tired this AM.
