What does a haunter look like?

So last month, I was involved in a discussion regarding what haunters look like.

Apparently tattoos and piercings, and black clothing compose the look. So, any kid working at Hot Topic would qualify.

Funny thing is, I can't actually think of that many haunters - pro or home - that fit that description. Haunt actors, yes, but still not the majority of them. My experience is that they tend to be either business casual or black t-shirt and jeans. (I lean towards black t-shirt and bondage pants, myself.)

So if you're a haunter, I'm curious about your thoughts. Do you think there's a uniform look? If so, what is it?

Hmmm... I was a professional "haunter / haunt actor" for years. Do I fit that description? No tats, no piercings, a few black T's but not my usual dress. I dress according to the seasons. Light colored and light weight clothes for the spring/summer. Heavier and darker for the fall/winter. I often admired those who could pull off a completely black ensemble during July. You GO sweaty goth-kid!

Pig tails (or braids) Black V neck wife beater, black coulottes and stripey socks, with senseible shoes. This is for haunt season only. During my regular life, I wear black every day too, as a Massage therapist. I didn't become Goth, I was never goth, I'm just apathetic.

Well, you know, the actors are the only haunt workers that *really* matter. I mean, without *them* what would you have? an empty building... /sacrasm
eh- sorry 'bout that. pet peeve of mine got triggered.
What I look like:
work pants, t-shrit, work apron and a bandana; sweater if it's chilly; comfy shoes with good support; hair out of my face.
Ok, so I've got some ink and a few extra holes in my ear lobes but if anyone says I look like I work at HT, I'll send them to bed with no supper.
