So. Lurk has apparently misunderstood my wish for him to leave me a sign that he's eating food by making a deposit in the litterbox. No, he's decided instead to leave gifts around the house this morning.
Ew. Ew. Ew.
(The love fest of the past few days threatens to end with a decisive cat beating, oh yes it does.)
So to distract myself - here! Look at these sparklies! (I'm lucky enough to own things from the first three.)
* Wyrding Studios (which of course most of y'all on LJ seem to know, but hey FB peeps, you may need to be converted):

What's fun about Kyth's work is that she often uses materials you'd generally not consider for jewelry, like maps, or bits of instruments, or computer parts. And after watching her dance and make jewelry? I sing this woman's praises to high heaven. :)
* Ayalanya:
(Damn, do I ever want one of those moonstone pendants!) Ahem. Go ye and look!
* Natural Charm:

Some of the most unique stuff I've seen out there. Includes handmade beads that incorporate flowers, hot pepper flakes, and more. I want one of each...because I'm just that greedy. Do check out the Nancy collection for the haunted honey in your life!
* Catch a Dream:

Very different from what I make. Very fun, inventive, and very customizable!
* Somnambulant:

(Pssst..Erin's having a sale starting Oct 2nd. You should definitely check her out!)
* The Uncommon Facade:
This woman is just beyond amazing. Go ye and look. ...No, really. Some of her masks are still on sale. She also does custom work.
* And here's a completely commercial link to the Pyramid Collection:
Good LORD do I ever covet thisFortunately, (a) I'm poor and (b) this would have be tailored down like WHOA to dream of fitting me. Still. Incredibly pretty.

Date: 2009-09-22 05:23 pm (UTC)I didn't read all the way through, just saw the lj-cut and wondered briefly why you took a picture of Lurk's gifts. Thankfully it was brief as I read the rest of the post and found out it is really all things shiny.
