Must be a morning thing with me.

I thought I had a doctor's appointment today for an ultrasound.

I checked out my receipt from December that had the appointment. It said "Tues Jan 18th".
Ummm...huh?

So I call to confirm.

After being on hold for 5 or 10 minutes, I'm told, "You missed your appointment. It was on the 5th. And it was for a full pelvic exam."

HUH?

Long story short, it's now rescheduled for FEBRUARY.

They should really rename the healthcare industry "wait for friggin'-ever industry".

Apparently Dracula's Castle in Wildwood was on fire this morning.
I've not been able to find out anything more than that.

I really have to wonder if it was an accident or something darker. There was another fire on the amusement pier this summer; there's been redevelopment projects in the works around the Castle since '99; and the current owners are known to be neglectful of the property. ("Why put money into an attraction when it's making money as run down as it is?")

This is the first haunted house I remember liking as a child.
I'm really sad about all this.

"People are too hung up on looks. Everyone should have to get to know each other with a closed door between them first...They should have to talk first, and not make a decision to date based on how attractive looks."

This is a very unexpected thing to hear.

Of course, this same woman would run shrieking if her precious sons started an online relationship, so...*shrug*
