movie report
Jan. 15th, 2002 03:06 pmI begged and pleaded and got to rent "The Dunwich Horror" last night.
Based on a Lovecraft novel, it's supposed to be a classic (if dated) horror film.
I'd thought I'd never seen it, until the beastie of the film makes its appearance...then I realized it was a movie that had creeped me out as a child, but that I had totally misremembered the plot.
The movie is REALLY dated. The Poole boys were very bored. I still think it's creepy, though.
(And the novelty of seeing Sandra Dee playing a pagan virginal sacrifice is worth the price of the rental.)
