* It's well nigh to impossible to create secret identities within a community you've previously existed in. Your secret WILL be found out. It's only a matter of time.
* Deceiving friends is cruel, stupid, and WILL lose you the title of "friend".
* Don't try to fool an empath. We will ALWAYS know, on some level.

But it's not just cutting and starting fresh. It's gamey. It's a game that touches a dear dear friend too much because it's deceptive and stupid and fraught with lies and THAT I cannot forgive as easily.

I have noticed "said person" posted an hour ago, and removed the farewell speeches from view. I could never walk away from a group of RL friends who cared about me that way, even if I did leave LJ.
