things lost
Feb. 7th, 2002 10:04 amI managed to lose my wedding ring last week for about 4 or 5 days.
(We picked out wide bands, you see, because they were rings that my beloved had liked for a long time; they were unique; and they have Chinese characters on them. The ones we chose say "Harmony," which I think is a great goal for a marriage. However, since they *are* wide, they tend to trap moisture underneath, so it's better to not wear them 24/7. I usually lose things once I take them off, so I rarely am without my ring. And true to form, as soon as I took the damn thing off, I forgot where I'd put it.)
Sigh.
So I found the ring yesterday.
Today I lost one of my brand new nosepads from my glasses. I just had the dang things put on last week, and now one has fallen off.
Curses. This is very uncomfortable, I assure you.
*grumble*
