Operation Use All the Things continues

Years ago, I scored several paper mâché statues sold by Crafty Chica as 'Paint Your Own Goddess' thingalas. I've done..two, for Shira, and I gave an unpainted one away, and the other three have been on storage all this time. (Note: they were VERY much on clearance at the time; if you can find these things now, you'd never buy that many at once.)
So over the past week, I've done this..
So this one has been in my head for year's. I'm not 100% sure it meets the mental vision, but ..
There's a bit of glitter in the edges around her body.
I'd wanted to put pumpkins around the base, but the ones adelheid_p found for me didn't quite work. I may revisit that later.
This one I'm mostly more pleased with..
Again, hard to see, but all of the red is glitterfied. This project has made me go through my paint stash and see what's still good. Not a surprise to anyone using glitter nail polishes (I'm looking at you, shadowwolf13..your posts helped me with this project) but it's not the easiest thing to work with.
Part of my desire to destash is trying to use up beads et al. I don't even know why I had this strand of iridescent lavender chunky bits, but I'm ridiculously happy with the decision to use them.
And the back is more sparkle to try to work with the front bit. Not sure it works. It may just need more of it...
