I'm not going to be able to bid on those dang boots. D'OH!!
How DARE they hamper my need to shop! hehehehe
On the positive side..I was looking for a book of Harry Potter cross stitch (and the crowd yells "GEEK!!")..it's only available overseas. Someone in France, pretty much out of the blue, answered a post I'd put up and offered to mail it to me, saying I could pay her once I got it.
*Wow*.
It arrived yesterday. Pretty neat book, actually..it doesn't have *exactly* what I wanted, but there's a really nice castle design I didn't expect, so that makes up for it very nicely.
I sent out her payment today, along with a patch from our butterfly exhibit as a thank you.
Geez...there *are* nice people out there. Who'da thunk it?
