I was ever amazed at how smart they are. Bella never ceased to surprise me with what she was capable of doing - herding her babies into a carrier and closing the door; weaving thread and wire through the mesh of her cage into complicated "artwork" (after reaching through the bars and pulling such materials into her cage); figuring out how to bounce against a barrier she couldn't actually hurdle, forcing it to move so she could get past it...she was pretty incredible.
