The drive was not so much fun - much more rain than the weather channel predicted, and fog to boot. I usually love fog. But last night? Could have done without it. E was right in worrying about the weather..as well as my back tire, which I'm told was flat this morning. So I think I'm spending my day trying to change my tire. Yay!
Lurk started crying when he heard me at the door this morning - I rolled in around 4AM or so. I bribed him with a treat of wet food, which he condescended to eat, and then he hopped into bed with me, waking me every 20 mins or so by frantically head-butting me, demanding more reassurance that yes I still love him.
Poor baby.
Today he is by turns either running around howling at me or sitting next to me purring.
I had yet another temp agency call while I was gone, with a temp-to-hire position. They're not open on weekends, dammit...but I'll be getting up wicked early to call them on Monday, oh yes I will.
I've pretty much decided I'm going to this herbal conference in October. (Yes, I know.)
I REALLY want to go to this tomorrow night....any Pittsburghians interested?
For those who missed it, this is where I'm jumping for Operation Freefall!!! I know some of y'all talked about wanting to be there..well, this is the place! Ironically, it's sorta kinda between here and Philly.

I miss my NC family - humans and kitties alike. :(
