The dog and one of the cats (Benjamin) had an interaction today.

*sigh*

No one was hurt, but Ben is very quiet as a result - quiet/withdrawn/needy.

And my mom just emailed me - her chinchilla broke one of its front legs. With the size of this critter's paw, there's just not a lot she can really do - I gave her some general ideas and told her to keep trying to get the vet.

*bigger sigh*
He really will probably be ok. This happened to one of my babies, but in her case it was just a toe.
