happy kitty moment

So I worked in the Live Animal Center yesterday.

When I went into Osiris' cage, he wanted to play.
This was demonstrated by his leaping at me, hugging my leg, and chirping happily - then running away a few steps and staring expectantly.

Now, to get the visual - Osiris is a caracal. Imagine basically a small female lion with lynx ears, 38lbs, all muscle, who reaches up to your waist when he's standing on his hind feet.

D'OH!!!

So we cuddled for a while - he curled up in my lap and played with my hair.
(I have GOT to get some pics of him....!!!)

At any rate...it was a good kitty moment. :)

..it's snowing again!!

another minor level of hell

..being trapped in the back seat of a car for a long car ride with a very touchy-feely energetic and somewhat precocious 13 year old.
