When I first mentioned the idea of participating in Operation Freefall, one of my best friends replied, "Well, I'll support you in any stoopid thing you want to do."

As it's turned out, he's not doing so. In fact, apparently we're no longer friends. Don't know why. And that hurts. But ya know? I have some amazing people, new friends and old, that are cheering me on. That want to drive 3 hours out of their way to do so.

*wipes away happy tears*

Oh MY. If you lived within a three hour drive of Seattle, I'd be going to watch and cheer you on. (Jumping out of a perfectly good airplane is *not* something I've ever wanted to do. Riding in a sailplane, though? one of the best highs of my life, pun not necessarily intended. I still need to take a hot air balloon ride one of these years...)
