plant intervention?

Yeah, I still need one.

I've been doing SO WELL...but then someone showed up at the greenhouse today with a HUGE rubber plant they needed to get rid of, and the boss didn't want it, and I was asked if *I* did, and I didn't but..but..homeless plant! So sad.

So now I have a rather ridiculously large rubber plant in my hearse that needs a home. Preferably not mine.

Dear lord, I hope someone on Freecycle wants it..

Maybe you could wrap it in a blanket and leave it on the steps of a church or convent with a half a locket so it can find you when its a grown up rubber plant?

I recently learned about guerilla gardening which is basically people finding public or neglected spaces and gardening on them so that the land can be enjoyed instead of neglected. Maybe you could start your own guerilla gardening operations with the discarded plants you save.
