I currently am using metric in my job... Kg and Ml... and I saw this and wondered if there's really only 3ml blood in a fieldmouse. 'cause that's how much blood we usually take from a dog or cat just to run a serum chemistry and cbc. 2ml for serum, 1ml for cbc. yeah.
On the humor side of things, the temperature conversion chart is very useful. :D
He got the "spit goes clink" temperature wrong; that's at around -50C, for someone around 1.75 meters tall. (It has to be colder for short people because they're closer to the ground.) For that to happen at -40C, the spitter would have to be well over two meters tall.
And yeah, they told me in the mid-'70s that the metric system and soccer were going to displace natural measures and baseball (or American football). Bunch of Euroweenies.
